Board members from two of the city’s newest business associations and two of the most prominent families in Long Beach will be among the recipients today of the new Mayor’s Long Beach Business Awards.
Mayor Robert Garcia announced the awards Wednesday and will present them today, Friday, at the Keesal, Young, and Logan law offices. He said in the announcement that these honors are the equivalent of his Go Long Beach Awards for community leaders.
The Walker family will receive awards for their community commitment at Farmers & Merchants Bank. Mario and John Molina get awards for Molina Health Care while Michelle Molina and her Millworks gets her own award.
Board members of the brand new Midtown business association get certificates, as do the board members of the East Anaheim Street Business Alliance. In all, 50 awards will be handed out. Here is the list:
